Food is consistently good but some suggestions are needed! My friend ordered lobster which was good but needed a very small fork to remove the meat from the legs and our waitress said they didn't have any?.. Not smart when you're paying $$ for lobster! My wife ordered a pasta dish w/ shrimp that came in a bowl BUT with way too much sauce!!!Tasted good and decided to take the remaining amount home minus a glass full of sauce..... We come to this restaurant often during the summer and will continue....

The pizza bread was a crowd-pleaser that combined the essence of pizza with the convenience of handheld bread. The pizza bread is a must order appetizer. I had the Tuna Lesparance for my main and it was refreshing and tasty. The seared exterior contrasted beautifully with the tender pink center, creating a sensory experience that was both visually appealing and satisfying to the tastebuds. The service was nice and accommodating. It was a very delicious meal and I would recommend.

Little off of the beaten path but worth it! Great time! the service as well as the food was outstanding! we had never been there before but we decided to stop by for a drink at the bar. who knew? a few drinks later and some great apps we decided that this was our new go to when we are in town. we had the mussels which we heard Ventura is famous for - they did not dissappoint! they were perfectly cooked, seasoned with a white sauce and perfectly presented. We also had a flatbread which was delicious. The bartending staff was phenomenal as well. They are friendly and very attentive.

After 10 years, I just came back to Ventura's offshore Café and nothings changed. It is great as usual you have to try the pork and provolone cheese with broccoli rob spinach sandwiches out of this world.

Mother's Day 2024, although everything we ordered was great, we didn't expect a small menu offering for the occasion. Had I known, we would have chosen another spot. We ordered a few apps & drinks and just enjoyed each other's company. We love their regular menu options, such a let down.

Ventura's Offshore Café offers a menu that suits a range of tastes, blending traditional and distinct dishes. The drink choices are basic, including options like Diet Coke and a carafe of water. The meal began with their French Onion Soup, a staple choice. The soup's rich taste comes from the melted Swiss and aged sharp provolone cheese, paired with French-style croutons. It provided a warm and comforting start to the meal on a chilly, rainy evening. Following that, the Caesar Salad proved to be a good choice. It's made with crisp romaine lettuce, croutons, and in-house Caesar dressing, and can be topped with char-grilled chicken. The salad offers a nice mix of fresh taste and satisfying flavor. The entrees included the standout Chicken Marsala. This dish combines sautéed chicken breast, Marsala wine, cremini, and portabella mushrooms, all served over tri-colored homemade pasta, resulting in a flavorful and filling meal. Another impressive dish was the Double Stuffed Shrimp. This entree creatively pairs crabmeat and lemon pepper pappardelle with a citrus beurre blanc sauce, creating a very flavorful combination. The Mussels Ventura, chosen with a red sauce, was a decent selection, though they do warn of potential sand. It came served with linguini and an additional side of spaghetti and meatballs, appealing to those who like freshly sautéed mussels with garlic and basil. Ventura's Offshore Café provides an enjoyable dining experience with its variety of well-cooked dishes, catering to diverse tastes and preferences.

This place has a awesome happy hour. Not on the happy hour, but I highly recommend, is their bread plate. The bread plate is HUGE but...treat yo self. If you're not in the mood for HH, stop by the hostess stand and grab a table. Parking: parking is available but fills up quickly. Seating: (bar/high tops) I recommend getting there early (the regulars hoard chairs/tables near the bar).

A local's hot spot! When I lived near the area, I actually didn't come here often as I usually never ventured much out that way. But lately, every time I'm back home, I frequently stopped here. The restaurant is plenty big with a good amount of seating. There is a bar right in the middle too. Service usually is nice and quick. The food portions are huge! We always bring the leftovers home. And they are always nice to split the entrees into two portions. The menu has a lot to choose from & everything always sounds good. Must haves for me that I order every time are the buffalo wings, mussels & pizza break. The buffalo wings are one of the best I've ever had!
